i find myself wanting to switch places with others, only for a day. alhamdulillah, for the most part, i am rather happy. i honestly have no dire issues that i can complain about in my life. however, i can’t help but wonder what life must feel like for certain others. to be someone completely different than me.. to get another perspective on life.. this probably sounds like an overly generic post, and maybe it is, but all one can do is imagine.

i watched an interview with a certain actress who said that before she began acting, she could never stay rooted in one place. for a period of her life, she would be moving constantly, an average of about every six months. each new place she moved, she could be someone else. not necessarily a change of her physical self, but of her personality or charisma. she was asked, “but then didn’t you have to hide who you really were?” and her response was, “it’s not that i was hiding my personality, i was just cautious with what i allowed myself to reveal.”

in other news, i need to come up with a way to break into my neighbor’s apartment and destroy their guitar hero.
